Beberapa hari yang lalu, saya dan teman2 sekampus mengunjungi sebuah Orchad dan Nursery in Ferrara, dan ini dia laporannya...

ORCHAD AND NURSERY MANAGEMENT

INTRODUCTION

The purposes of this field trip were :
1. Learn about the Orchard and Nursery Management
2. To know about the tipes of rootstock in graft methods
3. To know how to purposes to graft the plant

LOCATION

I. The Nursery in Vivai Maggiro
In this nursery, they grew up the trees in the 3,5 x 1,2 m2 with the density 5.000 plants. The nursery was built far away from other nursery to avoid the diseases that one of caused by the Fire Black. They grafted the trees by using Buttira Hardy (BA 29) as the rootstock and Max Red Bartlet as the cultivar. Beside that, they also grafted the new variety that called Carmen with quince as the rootstock. Chip budding is the type of grafting that they usually done for the plant here. In this method, they use a dormant side bud then grafted on the stem of another stock plant, and when it has fused successfully, it is encouraged to grow by cutting out the stem above the new bud. But, if the plant incompatibility with the variety, they will use the same variety as the rootstock as an intertem.

II. Consorvo Italiano Vivaisti
The C.I.V is a company that made by three Italian nurseries, ViVAI MaZZONI, SALVI VIVAI and TAGLIANI VIVAI. They produce about 4 Millions rootstocks, 3 millions scion trees of Apple, pear and stone fruits, 120 millions strawberries and 2 millions asparagus crown. They have two main activities are breeding and research (high quality and diseases resistance), and multiplication. They are strong in strawberries, they produce alomst hundred thousand seeds.
In growing the strawberries, they do by three steps before it planted on the orchads. At the first step, they make seedling of strawberries on the sandy soil and cover it by the plastick to avoid the dryness of the sand and also to keep clean the plant from the soil, this is call CP1. After one year, the select the best quality of plant as a mother plant, then it will be planting under the net to avoid the insect attack in one box. One box for each mother plant, because from one mother plant will grow hundreds plants, this is call CP2. CP1 was a mother plant to produce CP2. One year later, CP2 will be selected for the third times, they will choose the best quality and move it to other place. After that the plant will be planted on the Orchads. The strawberry can not plant in the same place in one year.

III. Then, we also visited the Orchads for produce the mother plant, they grew the mother plant, they use M9 as the Apple roostock. Then we visited the peer orchad with bivatel variety, they put the net on the orchad to avoid from the insect and the snow. The last place was an apple orchads, with the highest production and hundreds workers.

Begitulah salah satu kata-kata dari teman di sini, dimana winter selalu membuat kepala mereka kedinginan dan harus memakai topi, bahkan ada juga yang memakai penutup kepala seperti halnya penyusup di malam hari... hihi... Dan di waktu summer beberapa waktu yang lalu, kepala mereka kepanasan terbakar sinar matahari, sedangkan aku Alhamdulillah wa syukurillah.. I can survive!

Subhanallah... Semakin hari dan semakin aku mengenal berbagai perbedaan, Allah selalu membuatku takjub dengan semua ketentuan dalam islam yang selama ini aku kenal...Bahkan ketika berbagai warna dan jenis jilbab yang kubawa, comentnya "Wow... this is good" (Hmm... walaupun aku tak pernah tahu apa mereka jujur atau hanya ingin memoles kata2). Tapi , yang jelas hal ini membuatku semakin kagum dan bersyukur dengan garis yang Allah tetapkan, aku merasa terlindungi.
Yah... Kewajiban yang Allah tetapkan buat para muslimah..."Jilbab" ya, kain yang selalu menutup kepalaku kita.

Mmm... Aku teringat dengan sebuah artikel di sebuah dunia maya....

mengenai esensi dari konsisten, sungguh indah bilamana jilbab yang para wanita kenakan adalah asli dan murni, dari i’tikad baiknya karena kesadaran diri dan bukan lagi sebagai suatu “kewajiban” saja, namun suatu “keperluan sehari-hari” yang tiada tertinggalkan. namun, bila disoroti tentang hati di balik semua orang, mana saya tahu. alasan untuk berjilbab pun mana saya tahu. karena semua orang punya jawabannya sendiri. semua punya kepentingan masing-masing.

Realita menjawab, yang mengikuti tren, maka hanya tren lah pencapaiannya. tiada hakiki benar. bila hanya sebagai pelimpah rasa frustasi belaka, dari masalah duniawi, maka hanyalah begitu saja. aurat mereka benar telah terlindungi… namun apakah hati mereka juga terjilbabkan?
Bagi saya, semua orang bisa leluasa memakai jilbab. itu pun bisa sebagai kamuflase yang sempurna. namun, apakah berarti dia mampu memaknai arti jilbab ini, sebagai hijab mereka agar senantiasa dimuliakan? semboyan perdagangan pun muncul, “DO NOT ACCEPT IF SEAL IS BROKEN”. Berpakaian, namun tanpa hijab, seperti itu kah?
tentu saja, semua orang membantah, “lha wong saya berjilbab sudah lama, sama tahu akan maknanya”. semua orang bisa saja berkata, “saya kan baru belajar”. silahkan, anda belajar dari ahlinya. bisa jadi dari ahli trendsetter atau kah dari ahli yang mumpuni. toh ini cuman ada adanya saya saja.

tetapi mungkin bila kejadian seperti ini terjadi:
seorang berjilbab, kemudian berpacaran. suatu saat tiada hijab diantara mereka, dimana mereka berada dalam keadaan berdua, maka kemudian tiba-tiba semoga tidak terjadilah perbuatan yang diluar akal sehat manusia. tentu saja bila dilihat dari pandangan kasat mata, dia masih sama dengan orang lain, namun secara fisiologis, dia bukanlah dia yang dulu. dan waktu tiada berputar balik. akhirnya?……

silahkan anda sadari, bisa jadi kejadian diatas benar-benar adanya. saya tidak akan menjawab akan terjadi dimana, bisa jadi di jalan, bisa di mobil, bisa di penginapan, atau mungkin bisa saja di warnet?
saya hanya berpesan:“berjilbablah sesuai syariat”
